Annual Plant Sales Returns to Campus

Brooklyn Park, MN, April 17, 2025 — Hennepin Technical College is excited to announce the return of its highly anticipated Spring Plant Sale, taking place May 6–8, 2025, at the Brooklyn Park campus. The sale will be open to the public daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Hosted by the college’s Landscape and Horticulture programs, the annual event features a vibrant and affordable selection of plants to help the community prepare for spring planting. Proceeds from the sale directly support student learning and hands-on training in horticulture, greenhouse production, and landscape design.

Visitors will find a wide variety of garden favorites including:

Colorful annuals and hearty perennials
Tomato plants, vegetables, and aromatic herbs
Flowering containers and hanging baskets
And a Mother’s Day classic — gorgeous geraniums

“This is a great opportunity for the public to support our students and programs while getting high-quality plants for their gardens and outdoor spaces,” said Amy Birdsall, Landscape and Horticulture Faculty.
